The Veterinary and Food Laboratory now renamed the National Centre for Laboratory Research and Risk Assessment

As of 1 January 2023, the Veterinary and Food Laboratory bears a new name – the National Centre for Laboratory Research and Risk Assessment (LABRIS).

The centre offers laboratory services in the areas of food and feed safety and animal health, carries out risk assessments and acts as a national laboratory.

All services offered by the Veterinary and Food Laboratory so far will continue to be provided. There would be no significant changes for our clients who use laboratory services. Since the centre is the legal successor of the Veterinary and Food Laboratory, all documents issued to the Veterinary and Food Laboratory apply to the centre, including all accreditations and authorisations to act as a reference laboratory. The centre will continue the provision of laboratory services to public and private organisations and enterprises.

From 1 January 2023, all e-mail addresses have changed (…@labris.agri.ee).
