Official Authorization

Pursuant to the Alcohol Act, the Estonian Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture has authorized LABRIS to carry out both official control analyses of alcohol and analyses intended for the State Register of Alcohol.

Steps for Sample Submission & Results

Sample submission is simple and analysis results are delivered quickly and securely to the customer.

1. Sample preparation

  • When sending samples, please follow the requirements and sample quantities specified in the Sampling Guides
  • Each sample must be accompanied by a correctly completed Sample Submission Form (online fillable PDF).

2. Sending the samples

  • Samples must be delivered to the LABRIS laboratory in Tartu for analysis:
  • The fastest and safest way to send samples is by using a door-to-door courier service.
     
  • In exceptional cases, samples may be sent via parcel locker. In such cases, please use Smartposti, as it maintains a stable year-round temperature.

3. Receiving the results

  • Analysis results are delivered digitally via email as a test report.
  • Depending on the number of samples submitted, selected parameters and analytical methods, results are available within up to 10 working days.
