For the construction period of the intersection, detours are planned for both traffic passing through the city and local residents, to ensure the smoothest possible movement throughout the construction period.
The detour near the work area runs on the Tallinn-side section through the connecting road of F. R. Kreutzwaldi Street and Vaksali Street, and then along Vaksali, Hiie, or Hurda Street. To ensure safety and smooth traffic, stopping and parking are temporarily prohibited on Hiie Street.
Access to Supilinn will take place through the parking lot next to the Tähtvere tennis courts. Since the parking lot is also used for storing construction materials, stopping and parking are prohibited there during the construction period.
Bus traffic will also be reorganized.
The city of Tartu asks road users to take into account the changes during construction, follow the temporary traffic control, and allow more time than usual to reach their destination.
